Take Action: Keep Medicaid Strong for Ohio's Kids
Over the next few weeks, the U.S. Congress is expected to make important decisions on the future of Medicaid, the government program that provides health insurance for people with low income.
More than half of the children who visit Nationwide Children’s Hospital are covered by Medicaid. We believe it is crucial to their health – and to the health of other children across the country – that their access to care through this program is preserved. Among other important services, Medicaid allows for preventative care for children, so fewer of them need to come to the hospital at all.
Please consider contacting your senator and representative to encourage them to keep Medicaid strong for children.
Thank you for helping communicate this key message about children’s health.
