Meet Taylor

Taylor was diagnosed with the rare liver disease, Biliary Atresia, at the young age of ten and a half weeks old. She immediately underwent the major life-saving surgery called the Kasai procedure. The Kasai procedure acts as a temporary "Band-Aid" for Taylor's liver, so she still experiences the effects of liver disease, therefore requiring frequent doctors visits and hospital stays.

Although the only current cure for Biliary Atresia is a liver transplant, Taylor is still full of energy and lives life to fullest. Taylor enjoys spending time with her siblings and family. She also enjoys her dance classes, sports, and arts and crafts, but the one thing she might love more than all the activities is being with her dog!
