Priscilla was born a healthy, beautiful little girl with no complications and normal ultrasounds leading up to her birth. However, as time went on, it became clear to her family that something was wrong.
When Priscilla was 18 months old, Dr. Edward Kosnik was able to give her a diagnosis after a CT scan – a rare neurological birth defect called Agenesis of the corpus callosum. Since then, Priscilla has shown just how tough she is by having endured two orthopedic surgeries, countless ongoing visits to various clinics and regularly attends physical, speech, and behavioral therapy.
Priscilla participates in Special Olympics track and is a member of her high school cheerleading squad. She loves to braid and style hair and hopes one day she can be a famous hair and makeup artist and have her own YouTube channel.
