Each year around the holidays, Nationwide Children’s receives countless phone calls and emails from the community asking about donating toys to our patients. We will collect toys and books during our annual Toy Drive through Friday, December 21, 2018, at 12 pm.
Follow the signage to the drop off area, where staff will accept toy donations for patients while donors remain in their cars. (For detailed directions, see the map below)
While we cannot accept food or clothing, here is a list of items we can collect:

Gift Cards that Give
Because of your generosity, toy storage space sometimes gets limited in the hospital during the holidays. Consider the gift of gift cards in lieu of toys this holiday season. Preferred gift cards are listed below, please include with your gift card donation a note with your name, email address, and phone number.
We'll use this information to receipt your donation. Gift cards can be dropped off during holiday donation hours, or mailed to:

Can't make it to our Toy Drive on December 1st? We would still love to accept your donation to help children and families staying in the hospital over the holiday season.
Donations can be received:
Hospital donation begins December 3.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m; Friday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Donations must be received no later than December 21 at 12 noon
We cannot accept donations December 23-26.
If you are unable to come to the December Toy Drive day and are bringing a large donation (50 items or more), please call 614-722-3635 in advance to notify us of your drop off day and time. If you are planning to bring your toys between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on December 9 you do not need to call in advance.
Please note that due to infection control and privacy issues, we do not have opportunities for donors to personally distribute donations to patient and families.
