Andrew R. Yates, MD, is an attending physician and Associate Medical Director for the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Divisions of Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Yates received his medical from The Ohio State University. After completing his residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital, he completed his fellowship training at Nationwide Children's Hospital in both pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care medicine. His clinical interests include care for critically ill infants and children with congenital heart disease and the use mechanical circulatory support modalities to improve outcomes.
