Biography

Daniel M. Cohen, MD, is Research Director of Emergency Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Cohen serves at Chair, Student Review and Associate Academic Program Director (Part 3) for the L.S.I. curriculum and Community Assistant Dean for Education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His clinical and research interests in Emergency Medicine include infectious diseases, as well as pain management, sedation, and imaging in the evaluation and treatment of acute injuries and illnesses. Previously as Associate Division Chief, he served as the first Medical Director of Urgent Care, the Emergency Department Observation Unit, and the Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Program.
