Annual Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference

The 40th Annual Dwight A. Powell Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference in conjunction with the 38th Annual Pediatric Infectious Diseases Nursing Conference will feature topics:

13th Annual Pediatric Asthma Conference

This conference is designed for pediatricians, family practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, pharmacists, and clinical staff from hospitals, urgent care, primary care, and school facilities with students/patients who have asthma and allergies.

Neonatal and Fetal Conference: From the Womb and Beyond

This conference will highlight concepts of continuous quality improvement and safety in fetal and neonatal practice. The rapidly expanding evidence in both specialty areas poses challenges for the health care professional to remain current and to recognize opportunities for change in thought and practice. The goal of the conference is to offer science, methodology, practice initiatives and discussion points for the participant to explore.

First Annual Pediatric Cardiology Symposium

The first annual Pediatric Cardiology Symposium will address the diagnosis, management, and indications for referral for common pediatric cardiology diagnoses through a combination of lectures, panel discussions, and small group sessions. This symposium is designed to provide general pediatric practitioners with the cardiology knowledge and tools needed for patients with common and not-so-common pediatric cardiology complaints.

Simulation and Outreach Center 2022 Recap

The mission of Nationwide Children’s Simulation Center is to integrate agile and immersive simulation that leads to the best outcomes in pediatric healthcare. Accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, Nationwide Children’s Simulation Program provides opportunities for various medical professionals to practice technical skills, medical judgment and collaborative teamwork.

Professional Conference Service Fees

Interprofessional Education and Conferences provides full-scale professional conferencing services for divisions, sections and departments of Nationwide Children’s. A new conference fee model will be based on the provision of standard services for a flat rate based on length and complexity. A la carte fees are described for additional requested services beyond standard services. The new conference fee model will go into effect for any new conference agreements signed for conferences occurring on or after July 1. Conference agreements previously signed for 2023 or conferences that occur prior to this date will be assessed fees based on the current structure.
