Central Ohio Pediatric Society (COPS) invites members, honored past presidents and friends to attend the final gathering of the organization to commemorate 75 years on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Scioto Country County Club, on 2196 Riverside Dr., Columbus. Free and Low-cost Resources for Patient Families

The Children’s Advocacy Project (CAP4Kids) is a website that provides free and low-cost resources for your patient families – all in one place. CAP4Kids has resources for child care, summer programs, food pantries and assistance, transportation and more. Behavioral Health Treatment Insights and Provider Support Program to Trial Morning Hours

The Behavioral Health Treatment Insights and Provider Support (BH-TIPS) program will trial morning slots from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on both Wednesday and Friday of each week. Depending on need, these hours may be adjusted to offer 7:00 a.m. options. Providers may start scheduling for these morning hours starting March 1, 2023.

The BH-TIPS program offers virtual behavioral health consultation for Ohio primary care providers and connects Nationwide Children’s Hospital psychiatrists and a social worker through a virtual appointment to receive provider to provider consultation regarding:

  • Screening, assessment, and diagnostic clarification
  • Principles of medication and non-medication management to fit the specific clinical needs
  • Information about available behavioral health resources and linkages in your local community
