Ujjwal Ramtekkar, MD, MPE, MBA, is the new associate medical director for Partners For Kids (PFK). At PFK, his top priority will be to develop an integrated primary care/behavioral health model. Dr. Ramtekkar is also a member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Nationwide Children's and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Ohio State University.
Before coming to Nationwide Children’s, Dr. Ramtekkar served as the physician director of Specialty Clinics and Telehealth Outreach for Compass Health Network in Saint Louis and adjunct assistant professor of Psychiatry for University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia. His breadth of experience in pediatric behavioral health includes co-leadership of Project ECHO – a learning collaborative for integrated care in a primary care setting.
Dr. Ramtekkar completed his medical education at Government Medical College and Super Specialty Hospital in Nagpur, India. He completed a Master of Psychiatric Epidemiology (MPE) at Washington University, Saint Louis, where he also completed his Psychiatry residency. He completed a clinical fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital, and he received his Executive MBA from Marysville University in Saint Louis.
