Tabitha Jones-McKnight, DO, MPH, FACOP, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the Division of Primary Care Pediatrics. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Jones-McKnight is active in medical student and resident education. Her interests include health behavior and health promotion and childhood unintentional injury prevention. She is a co-moderator of the Child Safety Symposium at the Ohio State University, a course to teach 3rd-year medical students on how to effectively communicate with parents and caregivers about injury prevention.
At Nationwide Children’s Hospital she cares for a diverse population of patients and has been able to draw from her past experiences with the National Health Service Corps to do so. Dr. Jones-McKnight is also a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which promotes and fosters humanism in medicine, and previously served in the National Health Service Corps.
