Biography

Selene Koo, MD, PhD, received her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and MD from the University of Chicago. She completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and a fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology from the University of Chicago, and a fellowship in Pediatric Pathology from Boston Children’s Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with additional subspecialty certification in Molecular Genetic Pathology. Her clinical and research interests include the characterization of molecular alterations in pediatric solid tumors.
