Satya Gedela, MD, MRCP(UK), is an attending pediatric neurologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital and associate professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Gedela completed pediatric training and is board certified in three countries, India, England and the United States. He finished his training in pediatric neurology and epilepsy at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. He is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and epilepsy. He is medical director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and the Epilepsy Surgery Program. His special interests include epilepsy surgery and vagus nerve stimulator treatment for medically intractable epilepsy patients.

Our Level 4 Epilepsy Center offers the highest level of epilepsy care outlined by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. That includes advanced epilepsy surgery capabilities.
