Natalie Slone, DO, is a hospitalist in the Hematology, Oncology, and Blood & Marrow Transplant department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Slone’s clinical concentration is in the management of pediatric cancers, particularly solid tumors such as bone and soft tissue sarcomas and leukemias and lymphomas. Additionally, Dr. Slone’s research was directed at the development of immunotherapy treatments for pediatric osteosarcoma, to expand treatment modalities for these patients and improve their quality of life by decreasing the need for traditional chemotherapies.
Dr. Slone completed her residency in Pediatrics from Atlantic Health System/Goryeb Children’s Hospital and her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology from University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She earned her doctor of medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and her bachelor of arts from Miami University. Dr. Slone is a member of American Society of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
