Biography
Dr. Mohamed AbdelBaki is a pediatric neuro-oncologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University. Dr. AbdelBaki is responsible for developing phase I trials for brain tumors at Nationwide Children's. Dr. AbdelBaki did his pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship training in one of the largest brain tumor programs in the country: Texas Children's Hospital-Baylor College of Medicine. He did his research to investigate novel immune-based treatment strategiesof pediatric brain tumors. From 2013 through 2015, Dr. AbdelBaki served as the director of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, Saint Louis University. During these two years, Dr. AbdelBaki was nominated for the Ambassador Choice award at Cardinal Glennon Children's medical center. This award is given once yearly to physicians who have provided excellent medical care to their patients. In 2015, Dr. AbdelBaki also received the Saint Louis University School of Medicine Distinguished Teaching Award. Dr. AbdelBaki is a member of a Dana Farber Cancer Institute medical team that helps guide the progress of the Children's Cancer Hospital in Egypt (CCHE- 57357). He also serves as an International advisory board member of Ain Shams Medical Students Research Association 'AMSRA'.
