Kyle Thompson, MS, AT, ATC, is an athletic trainer at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Sports Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Marshall University in 2015 and his Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2018. As a graduate student at Ohio University, Kyle worked at Lancaster High School as a licensed athletic trainer and was a preceptor for undergraduate athletic training students from Ohio University.
Prior to attending Ohio University, Kyle worked as an athletic trainer for Teays Physical Therapy Center in Hurricane, West Virginia. While at Teays Physical Therapy, Kyle worked closely with the Potential Plus Performance Enhancement and Revved Up Crossfit programs. Kyle has worked with the Men’s Baseball and Cross Country teams, Cheerleading, and Football while at Marshall University; Ohio University Football during the 2017 summer; and Boys and Girls Soccer, Girls Basketball, Softball, and Football while at Lancaster High School. Kyle is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
