Kristina M. Reber, MD, is the Associate Division Chief of the Neonatology Section at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Reber has an academic interest in necrotizing enterocolitis including the developmental regulation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) in the newborn intestine, the impact quality improvement can have on the incidence of NEC and understanding the outcomes of infants with surgical Necrotizing Enterocolitis through the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Database.
Dr. Reber is currently the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Director and serves as the Chairperson for the Organization of Neonatal Perinatal Training Directors (ONTPD) through the AAP. She serves on the Executive Board for the Children’s Hospital Neonatal Consortium (CHNC) and as the fellow liaison for the CHNC. Dr. Reber is actively involved in community and national initiatives to impact infant mortality and care for the opiate exposed infant.
