Kristen M. Moyer, MD, MTS, is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She participates in inpatient and outpatient consultative palliative care and home-based palliative care and hospice.
Dr. Moyer received her Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Duke Divinity School. She completed an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at The Ohio State University. Between residency and fellowship, Dr. Moyer also served as a chief resident and clinical instructor of Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Moyer’s clinical and research interests include religion, spirituality, and medicine; perinatal palliative care; and the intersections of addiction and palliative medicine. She is also actively involved in palliative care education research and is committed to improving communication-based education initiatives for undergraduate and graduate learners.
