Biography
Kim Tartaglia, MD, is a member of the Section of Hospital Pediatrics and Adult Hospital Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is an attending physician on the General Pediatric Medicine Inpatient Service and the Adult Medicine Consult Service at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Prior to coming to OSU in July 2008, Kim completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago where she served as a Med-Peds chief resident during her final year. During her residency, she developed and managed several quality improvement initiatives for the outpatient resident practice. She also co-led a resident initiative called the Neighborhood Health Exchange, using community partners to provide Internal Medicine residents with patient counseling opportunities. Her current academic interests include studying the effects of and broadening quality initiatives in the inpatient setting as well as expanding on these concepts in resident education. She is board certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine.
