Kate E. Lorenz, MS, RD, LD is a Lead Clinical Dietitian in the Eating Disorders Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She graduated in 2004 with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Consumer Sciences from Ohio University. In 2006, she graduated with honors with Masters of Science Degree in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University. She has worked in pediatric nutrition for 10 years and special areas of interest include feeding disorders, promotion of healthy lifestyles and patient and family education. Kate is certified in Pediatric Weight Management through the American Dietetic Association.
She published her master’s thesis abstract in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2007 and presented her findings at the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo that year in Philadelphia (Predictors of Weight Loss in Bariatric Patients at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
