Julie Choueiki, MS, RN, CPEN, serves as the Director of Strategy for The Center for Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstruction (CCPR) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Julie completed her undergraduate studies in Nursing at The Ohio State University. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing Administration at The University of Cincinnati.
Julie has worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital as a Trauma, Critical Care and Emergency Department Nurse, Nurse Educator, Informatics Educator and Professional Development Nurse Specialist before joining the CCPR Team in 2016. Julie was the 2013 March of Dimes Nurse of the Year in Ohio for Emergency Services. She has been active on numerous hospital committees and task forces working on Quality Improvement, Patient and Staff Safety, and Evidence Based Practice. She is a past Coordinator of the Acute Care Nurse Residency Program and served as the Coordinator for the Critical Care Medication Exam at Nationwide Children’s. Julie served as Vaccine Coordinator for Nationwide Children’s: the hospital based primary care network in the country. Julie joined the CCPR Team in 2016 as the Program Manager. She has travelled domestically and internationally with the team speaking on the work of the CCPR and providing education on program development.
