James A. Mulick, PhD

James Mulick, PhD is currently a Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychology at The Ohio State University. He studied psychology at Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ, and earned his doctorate at The University of Vermont. He has taught at Northeastern University, the Brown University Program in Medicine, and the University of Rhode Island. He came to The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in 1983. At The Ohio State University, he has pursued research interests in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Behavior Analysis, Autism, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. He established the first postdoctoral fellowship program for pediatric psychologists in 1987 and continues as Director of the Neurodevelopmental Disabilities postdoctoral psychology fellowship program track based at the Child Development Center of Nationwide Children's Hospital. He is active in the leadership of the American Psychological Association's Divisions of Behavior Analysis and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
