Biography

Hakan Cam, PhD, is a principal investigator for the Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Diseases at Nationwide Children's Hospital and an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Cam earned his bachelor's degree from Cukurova University, followed by Master degree in Humboldt University of Berlin and PhD degree from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. He continued his postdoctoral training in pediatrics cancers at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN. Dr. Cam joined in the Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital as a junior faculty in 2010.
