Cheryl Bocook Pippin, MD, is a member of the Section of Primary Care Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She provides direct patient care and supervises medical residents in the Main Campus Primary Care Center, Yellow Team. The Yellow Team is the primary care provider for approximately 6,000 patient visits per year for both well- and acute-patient care. Dr. Pippin is certified in EPIC Ambulatory since 2008. She trains all new ambulatory staff physicians using the Electronic Medical Record and maintains EMR related issues. As an extension of this, she provides billing and coding support and is on the Physician Compliance Committee. In 2009, she attended Intermountain Healthcare advanced training program in Health Care Delivery Improvement (QI) and is active in quality improvement related to immunizations.
