Chelsea Barr, CSCS, is a sports performance specialist for Nationwide Children’s Hospital Sports Medicine. She is a certified strength & conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
Prior to coming to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Chelsea served as a strength and conditioning coach at the Division 1 collegiate level, working with a variety of sports. Her extensive experience included training teams at The Ohio State University, University of Illinois, University of Nebraska, and Indiana University. Chelsea began her coaching career working student and professional internships in the collegiate setting. Her early experiences included stints at the University of Georgia, University of Tennessee, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and Southeastern Louisiana University.
Chelsea earned her BS from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she competed in intercollegiate athletics as a member of the volleyball team. She also earned her Masters of Science from the Strength Conditioning and Fitness graduate program at the University of Georgia.
