Amy Singleton, LMT, graduated in 2011 from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH. She has grown her practice over the years working with many patient populations from babies to the elderly. Amy is licensed in Swedish Relaxation Massage techniques working in layers until graduating to a medium-firm pressure. She will communicate with the patient making sure the pressure is adjusted lighter or deeper to their liking incorporating Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release and Stretching as appropriate to the individual Plan of Care.
Amy believes health should be supported daily through holistic practices including nutrition, exercise, proper sleep, positive thoughts, and stress management. Massage is her favorite way to relax, manage stress, relieve pain, and assist patients in recovering from repetitive use injuries and trauma. Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been honored to employ Amy since 2017 working with Cardio-Pulmonary and Pain Management patients. She is eager to serve the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany and surrounding community.
