Your Pregnancy, Week 36

You're entering the home stretch! Does it feel like you're on an emotional rollercoaster lately? Irritable one minute and tearfully happy the next? It's those pregnancy hormones at work!

But it’s not just changing hormone levels affecting you right now. You may be having trouble sleeping because of your growing belly. And you may be thinking about what's going to happen during your labor and birth. Meanwhile, your baby’s kidneys, lungs, and brain continue to mature. He or she can suck her thumb, cry, hear, and see. The irises of your baby’s eyes are likely slate blue. His or her permanent eye color won’t be clear until several weeks or months after birth.
