Your Pregnancy, Week 22

Are you staying active? Exercise is a key part of a healthy pregnancy. It can often reduce aches and pains due to pregnancy. It can also help you recover after your baby is born.

Low-impact activities are often good choices. These include swimming, dancing, and yoga. In general, if you were active before pregnancy, you can safely continue exercising throughout your pregnancy. But check with your healthcare provider first.

Keep in mind that you may not be able to exercise if you have certain health issues. These can include preterm labor or high blood pressure.
