Our Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship Program participates in the San Francisco Match. You must be registered to participate in the Match.

About The San Francisco Match

The SF Match takes place in August and will be used to process all applicants who want to start their Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship training in July of the following year. Applicants are responsible for ensuring they meet all prerequisites for eligibility prior to registering for the match. All match participants must agree and abide by the SF Match rules and policies as well as any additional rules stated by the sponsoring group. Please review the rules page prior to registering.

Eligibility

Any physician accepted to the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship training program shall:

  • Have a valid license to practice medicine or osteopathy in the United States or Canada

  • Have satisfactorily completed residency requirements for general dermatology and be certified or be an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Dermatology

  • Exhibit high ethical standards in the practice of medicine.

Application Components 

Register for the San Francisco Match at www.sfmatch.org. Applicant registration begins in January. Please note that although registration is open up until the match deadline, applicants are encouraged to register as early as possible to allow time for application and interviews.

  • Fellowship and Career Goals: Please state the reason for your interest in the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship training program by describing your career goals, research interests, and how these can be best accomplished by this fellowship. This essay should not exceed one page.

  • Three professional references
