Biography
David W. Hauswirth, MD, is a member of the Section of Allergy at Nationwide Children's Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Pulmonary and Critical Care in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at The Ohio State University. He is trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics. His primary research interests focus on the interaction of sinus disease and asthma. His clinical interests include allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma and immune deficiency. Dr. Hauswirth is actively involved in the development of the allergy and immunology fellowship program at the Ohio State University Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital.
