Biography

Claire Stewart, MD, MEd, is a native of Columbus, Ohio and is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She obtained her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC and pediatric critical care fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as well as a master’s degree in medical education at the University of Cincinnati. She joined the faculty at Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2016, and currently serves as the Associate Program Director for the pediatric critical care medicine fellowship program and one of the associate program directors for the pediatric residency program. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine.

Her academic interests include medical education, simulation, and trainee management of acute deterioration and situation awareness. She also serves as co-chair of the ACT (rapid response) committee and is involved with medical student coaching through The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
