Additional Information

The Welcome Center Services program is one of the only patient programs of its kind where the Sleep Well, Get Well program is made available to our patients traveling from outside of central Ohio.

Through Sleep Well, Get Well, local hotels, in support of our mission, offer families traveling from outside of the central Ohio area, a free hotel stay the night before any inpatient or outpatient procedure. We understand that in order to prepare for a hospital visit, a good night’s rest the night before, for both the patient and family, is essential.

Welcome Center Services supports many of the unique needs of patients and families arriving from out-of-town, including:

Housing and Transportation
In addition to our Sleep Well, Get Well program, Columbus has a variety of transportation and housing options. Our local partners extend many special discounts to our patients and families.

Welcome Center Services has partnered with the Ronald McDonald House to offer additional accommodations prior to arrival. This resource has a limited availability; it is on a first come first serve basis. There are three rooms available for advance placement.

Financial Information and Resources
We have extensive experience in supporting families, specifically with working through questions related to coverage for health care services available throughcommercial and public insurance, as well as other sources of national and international funding.
