Sports Medicine Fellowship Application :: Nationwide Children's Hospital

Sports Medicine Fellowship Application

Application Process

Applicants for the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program must be registered with National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), which opens for participation in September of each year. Applicants should utilize the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) Universal Application for Fellowship Training.  Please submit your certified medical school transcripts, copies of official USMLE (or similar) board scores, and at least 3 letters of recommendation (one from your Residency Program Director and two other letters of reference) to our program coordinator.  When your completed application, medical school transcripts, and three letters of recommendation have been received and reviewed, you will be notified of the action taken and if you will be offered an opportunity to interview for a fellowship position commencing in July of each year.

Applications will be considered through October of each year. Interviews will be conducted on Thursdays throughout October and November. We encourage applicants to apply earlier in the application process to insure flexibility with interview scheduling.

We appreciate your interest in our fellowship program and look forward to reviewing your completed application and letters of recommendation.

Please mail letters of recommendation to:
