How to Apply for the Sports Medicine Internship

Meet the Following Criteria

You are a College/University Student
-
You have been accepted into an accredited athletic training program

Your College/University must have a affiliation agreement with Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Complete the Athletic Training Internship Application Form

Applications completed and submitted electronically to atintern@nationwidechildrens.org, or can be completed NEATLY in blue or black ink and mailed.

Cover Letter and Resume with 3 References

Two Letters of Recommendation

One letter must be from a clinical instructor

The Letters of Recommendation can come from your Three References

Letters must be on an official letter head, in a signed and sealed envelope.
Submitting your Application Materials

Submit all the completed forms, resume, and cover letters to Nationwide Children's Hospital Sports Medicine Department by email, fax, or mail.

Letters of Recommendation must be mailed

Application Deadlines:
1/31 for Spring applicants
3/31 for Summer applicants
6/30 for Fall applicants

The selection of students for the Internship Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital Sports Medicine is based on qualifications and experience. All selected students will be contacted by a Certified Athletic Trainer from the Sports Medicine Department.
