Worked as an independent Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Cardiology with specialization in electrophysiology at Tufts, New England Medical Center, Boston. Recruited to Nemours Cardiac Center, Orlando, Florida to help establish interventional cardiology services. Current position is the Interventional Cardiology Nurse Practitioner in The Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. |
- Perform and assist cardiac catheterization & interventional procedures in infants, children, and adults with complex congenital heart disease
- Practices as an integral member of the Hybrid cardiac team
- First assist for all live case demonstrations broadcast nationally and internationally
- Experienced with transcatheter devices & FDA sponsored clinical trials
- Mentors cardiology fellows in the cardiac catheterization suites
- Academic and clinical research has produced 22 manuscripts published in refereed journals and 42 abstract publications
- Speaker at regional, national, and international scientific sessions
- Junior manuscript reviewer for numerous cardiology and interventional journals
- Research activities include principal investigator and/or co-investigator on 18 IRB approved clinical studies
