Ronald T. Grondin, MD

Ronald T. Grondin, MD, MSc, FRCSC, is a pediatric neurosurgeon at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of Neurosurgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, followed by his master’s degree in molecular and medical genetics at the University of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children, in Toronto, Canada. He obtained his medical degree at Queen’s University School of Medicine, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Grondin completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Calgary, and completed a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School in 2008. Dr. Grondin is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Canadian Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Grondin’s clinical interests include the surgical treatment of epilepsy, neuroendoscopic management of hydrocephalus and craniosynostosis, and pediatric neurovascular disease.
