Michelle A. Miller, MD, FAAPMR, Diplomate of ABEM – Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation



 Michelle Miller, MD, FAAPMR, Diplomate of ABEM

Dr. Miller is Section Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Department of Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She also is a Diplomate of ABEM (American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine) and is the secretary of the Pediatric Special Interest Group of the AAPMR. Dr. Miller developed the section’s Baclofen Pump Program. She is subspecialty trained in both pediatric and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Miller’s research has focused on brain injury, including outcomes after acquired brain injury, rehab interventions and epidemiology and pathophysiology. Dr. Miller was named among the “Best Doctors in America” in 2009.

Rosalind J. Batley, MD, FAAP, FAAPMR

Dr. Batley is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Clinical interests include managing a comprehensive inpatient pediatric family-centered rehabilitation unit; inpatient consultation; outpatient evaluation and management of children/adolescents with physically disabling conditions; bracing, prosthetic, wheelchair and seating evaluation and prescription; electrodiagnosis; and, Botox and Baclofen pump management. Dr. Batley was named among the “Best Doctors in America” in 2009.

Ellen S. Kaitz, MD, FAAPMR


Dr. Kaitz is Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and Director, Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship Program, Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is subspecialty certified in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Her clinical activities include inpatient, outpatient and consultative services for children with physically disabling conditions. Particular areas of interest focus on spasticity management and spinal cord injuries in children. Research includes the use of the agitated behavior scale in children and conversion disorders in children and adolescents. Dr. Kaitz was named among the “Best Doctors in America” in 2009.

Karl Klamar, MD, FAAPMR

Dr. Klamar is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His clinical and research interests are centered on brain injury and, in particular, on mild brain injuries and concussion. Other interests include spasticity management and neuro-ophthalmology. William S. Pease, MD, FAAPMR, FAANEM, is Chairman of and Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Pease’s clinical interests include pediatric electromyography. His research has focused on electromyography and gait analysis after stroke. Dr. Klamar was named among the “Best Doctors in America” in 2009.
