Biography

Patrick Fahey, MD, has been Chief of the Section of Family Practice at Nationwide Children’s Hospital since 1988 and is a Professor of Family Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He has authored or edited many articles and monographs, primarily in the field of clinical nutrition. He serves on Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Continuing Medical Education Committee, representing the Ohio State University Medical Center, where he has chaired the Continuing Medical Education Advisory Committee since 1993. He is a member of The Ohio State University’s Primary Care Research Institute, which includes several researchers from Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Fahey has actively participated in the American Cancer Society, currently serving as President of the Ohio Division. He regularly teaches medical students and family practice residents.
