Nilsa Del Carmen Ramirez-Milan, MD

Nilsa C. Ramirez, MD, is the Director of Surgical Pathology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is the Medical Director of the Biopathology Center at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She is also Medical Director of The Ohio State University’s (OSU) Pathologist’s Assistant Program and participates in teaching medical and dental students at OSU, and residents and fellows in pediatric pathology. Dr. Ramirez is board certified in anatomic pathology, has subspecialty training in gynecologic, obstetrical and perinatal pathology. Her areas of interests include: placental pathology, perinatal autopsy pathology, infertility, tissue banking and gynecologic oncology.
