Nationwide Children’s Hospital will host the 2016 Candidates Forum on Children and Youth Monday, October 17 in the Ann Isaly Wolfe Education Building at Nationwide Children’s in Stecker Auditorium, located at 575 S. 18th St., Columbus 43205. The public is invited to attend this event as well as a free networking breakfast which begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program, which will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The public will have the opportunity to hear candidates share their views on issues such as children’s health, education and at-risk youth. Invited candidates include those for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Ohio Legislature, and Franklin County Commissioner races in November.
The event, a non-partisan education forum, is sponsored by CareSource, KidsOhio.org, Voices for Ohio’s Children, and Nationwide Children’s, and supported by numerous community organizations. It will be moderated by Kristyn Hartman of WBNS-10, Columbus affiliate of CBS. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP.
