Children receiving hospice care at Nationwide Children’s Hospital will benefit from ticket sales to “Laughing, Living, Giving” — an event featuring live sketch comedy, a rock entertainment show, silent auction and raffle, as well as a cocktail buffet with complimentary beer and wine.
Nationwide Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care program enriches the physical, emotional, social and spiritual lives of children with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones, which includes counseling, chaplain visits, medical treatment and pain-management and bereavement services among other assistance.
Pleasure Guild (PG), an auxiliary women’s volunteer group of Nationwide Children’s, is hosting the annual event.
“Why not have a night of fun while contributing to such a worthy cause?” said PG President Colleen Adkins. “Pleasure Guild hopes that the community supports this spirited fundraising method.”
