TWIG III of Nationwide Children’s Hospital invites the public to their third annual Cards for Kids event Friday, October 12, 2012 at Scioto Country Club, 2196 Riverside Drive in Upper Arlington.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., Cards for Kids attendees will enjoy a lecture and play of the hand by local professional bridge instructor, Marsha Reall, with the Party Bridge Tournament starting at 10:30 a.m.
Participants can enter their foursome into the party bridge tournament, or enter as an individual and receive a basic bridge lesson from Reall during the event. Players can also form a foursome to play your game of choice. Lunch and prizes will be provided.
The entry fee is $100 per person and includes the lecture, bridge tournament, beginner’s room, luncheon buffet and prizes. All proceeds benefit the pediatric cancer program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

TWIG of Nationwide Children’s Hospital are groups of women throughout central Ohio who dedicate their time and talent in support of the hospital. Since their inception in 1916, TWIG has raised more than $27 million to support patient care, education and research at Nationwide Children’s. The women of TWIG believe in the mission of providing the highest quality care to all children and families regardless of their ability to pay.
Today, more than 1,000 active members are working to continue the TWIG legacy through a variety of fundraising efforts such as the annual TWIG Bazaar, the sale of holiday cards and greetings program, BIA Parade of Homes, the Women’s Division of The Memorial Tournament and the many projects and events coordinated by more than 60 individual TWIG groups throughout central Ohio.
