5th Annual “Trot for Tots” 3K and 10K Slated for November 11

Race benefits Hospice at Nationwide Children’s Hospital

COLUMBUS, OH - 10/25/2007

The 5th Annual “Trot for Tots” is slated for Sunday, November 11 at Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio. Proceeds from this 3K run/walk and 10K run will benefit Hospice at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Registration opens at 7 a.m. with a shot gun start for both races beginning at 9 a.m. An early bird entry fee prior to November 5 is $20 and $25 after November 5. A team (three or more people) discount is offered at $15/person.

There is a $1,500 prize purse for the 10K men's and women's top four finishers: 1st Place - $300; 2nd Place - $200; 3rd Place - $100; and 4th Place - $50. Capturing the course record includes an extra $200 for the men and $100 for women. Course record for the men is currently held by Aaron Rowe 30:51 in 2005, and Ann Alyanak 36:12 for the women in 2006. *Record bonus is compounded on a yearly basis.
