20th Annual Slice of Columbus a Hit Wednesday Evening

The 20th Annual Slice of Columbus was a huge hit Wednesday (Sept. 9) evening, with its biggest crowd ever -- more than 3,000 pizza lovers were in attendance -- and raising more than $100,000 for Nationwide Children's Hospital. The crowd enjoyed a perfect evening at the Lifestyles Community Pavillion, sampling delicious pies from 18 local shops.

Celebrity judges, Angela Pace (WBNS 10TV) and Johnny DiLoretto (WSYX ABC 6 / WTTE Fox 28), crowned Papa Joe’s Pizza as Best of Show, while the People’s Choice award went to newcomer Romeo’s. Kristy Kemper and Jerry Elliott from QFM 96 tapped Donato’s as Best Overall.
