Trainees will ideally be selected from candidates who have completed a year of fellowship in an ACGME-accredited Neuromuscular Medicine program. Such fellows will have in nearly all cases completed a residency in neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or pediatrics. Trainees will be selected based upon demonstrated interest in academic medicine, clinical research, and clinical expertise. In selected instances, trainees may be selected among individuals who have not completed a year of clinical post-doctoral fellowship, but instead directly matriculate from residencies in neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or pediatrics, or fellowships in child neurology. Recommendations will be solicited from program instructors in both the fellowship and residency.
