Every year approximately 1,800 outpatients visit Nationwide Children's Neuromuscular Disorders Clinic which offers a full range of services and treatments including:

Neuromuscular Laboratory Service – Our lab evaluates more than 400 muscle and nerve biopsies each year. We also offer testing for elevated muscle enzymes (CK or aldolase) and electromyogram (EMG) testing for myotonia.

Neuromuscular Clinic Locations

Appointments at Nationwide Children’s Neuromuscular Disorders Clinic require physician referral. Many insurance plans require authorization from the referring physician in order for the patient's care to be covered. Once all necessary referral and authorization information is received, the patient evaluation will be scheduled.
