Najwa E. Eldahdah, MD

Najwa E. Eldahdah, MD, is a member of the Section of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. El-Dahdah’s primary interest is in providing primary care and preventive medicine. Forty percent of her time is spent in the Primary Care Centers in an outpatient setting, interested in patient and family education and teaching medical students. With a fellowship in neonatology and a passion for newborns, the other sixty percent of her time is spent at the Well Baby Nurseries at the Ohio State University Medical Center and Mount Carmel East Hospital. Dr. El-Dahdah spends a great deal of time with the families and parents in anticipatory guidance as well as counseling new parents. Dr. El-Dahdah is involved in teaching medical students, interns and residents during their clinical rotations in the Well Baby Nursery. She also gives the medical students a formal lecture on The Physical Exam of the Newborn for each group of students during their pediatric clinical rotation.
