Mitchell L. Henry, MD

Mitchell L. Henry, MD, is a member of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University (OSU) College of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Transplant Surgery and Deputy Director for Surgical Services within the Comprehensive Transplant Center at OSU. He also serves as Medical Director for Lifeline of Ohio Organ Procurement and Councilor-at-Large for the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. He serves as Secretary for the Vascular Access Society of the Americas (VASA) and Secretary of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). Dr. Henry’s research interests include immunosuppressive therapies, pancreas and liver transplantation, pulsatile perfusion and xenotransplantation.
