Meredith L Dotson, ATC

Meredith received her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University in 2003, and her master's degree in Administration of Higher Education from Auburn University in 2005. She is certified by the BOC and licensed by the Ohio Board of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers' Board. She is a physician extender in our Sports Medicine Clinics. Prior to joining Nationwide Children's Sports Medicine, Meredith spent five years as the athletic trainer for the women's basketball team at West Virginia University, where she also served as an approved clinical instructor in the Athletic Training Education Program. She was also very active with the West Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association, serving as Secretary and Membership Coordinator. During her time at Auburn, Meredith was the athletic trainer for the Tigers' women's gymnastics team. Growing up in a college town, Meredith was surrounded by sports year round. "I love being able to combine my passion for sports with the satisfaction I get from helping people. I can't imagine working in any other field. No two days are ever the same, and I enjoy the challenges each one brings."
