Vogmask…Did You Know?

Some important facts about the Vogmask:

  • The Vogmask does not eliminate the risk of illness, diseases, virsuses, infection and some bacteria.
  • The intended use of the Vogmask is to protect from non-oil airborne particles such as smog, smoke, dust, pollen, shavings, and particles found in air pollution. It protects from inhalation of airborne particles over 0.3 microns.
    • The average size of a virus particle is 0.01 to 0.5 microns.
    • The average size of a bacterial particle is 0.3 to 10 microns.
  • Please wear yellow surgical masks to clinic and on the floor.
    • Please buy disposable surgical masks (Isolation Face Mask NON27122) or take 2 on the way out the door from clinic.

How to care for your Vogmask:

  1. Gently rinse the outer and inner layers
  2. Add a drop of liquid soap (like dishwashing soap)
  3. Rinse the mask again
  4. Hang the mask to dry
  5. It is important to note that even though you need to wash your Vogmask, it cannot be disinfected to rid of bacteria.

Hand washing is recommended because the filtering efficiency of the middle layer nano fiber will decline if undetected damage (like a tear in the filtering textile) in the middle filtering layer occurs.

Our goal is to keep you healthy and free of germs!
