Summer Scientist Education Program Available for Teens and Undergrads

Nationwide Children’s is offering a Summer Scientist Education Program (June 24 through July 29) to expose high school students and undergraduates to the scientific method and careers in medical research.

All presenters are faculty from The Research Institute. During the program, the teens will learn about the following topics: Muscle Repair in Treating Muscular Dystrophy; From Concept to Marketplace (Technology Commercialization); Genetic Regulation of Early Neural Development; Behavioral Research: Stop Teen Smoking; Bench to Bedside: A Vaccine for Ear Infections; Development of Cardiovascular Devices.
